The Christ Hospital Breastfeeding Support Group provides breastfeeding support for pregnant women and mothers. This event is open to the community and offers encouragement and education in breastfeeding and its impact on daily life—from prenatal questions, to maintaining breast milk supply, expressing breast milk and preparing for return to work.

The group is a place for mothers to discuss a variety of breastfeeding topics and meet other mothers in a relaxed setting. The group is facilitated by our nurses who are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants. (IBCLC).

The support group is FREE resources for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers. All mothers and infants are welcome.

The group is located on the 8th floor of the Main Hospital in the 8 south conference room. We are not allowing siblings at this time for your safety.

This virtual zoom class will discuss normal newborn behaviors, feeding patterns, positions and attachment techniques, recognizing your infant is getting enough milk and common questions and concerns about breastfeeding.
